ARBA Committee visited EmbroidAbility on 1st October 2013 and had a pleasant evening over snacks and watched a demonstration of automatic embroidery machines. The manager, Sue Prior, had this to say –
“We are part of Pinnacle, a not for profit organisation which is based both in Ararat and Stawell.
We work in with Fosters Mensland both in Ararat and Stawell
We have 14 supported employees
We support 1 secondary college and 2 Marion college students with part time work
We currently have 1 full time staff and 2 part time staff
We print on a broad range of products, with embroidery, sublimation printing and vinyl
The embroidery is produced using some of the best machines available, that produce top quality embroidery and our digitising is done in- house by another employee of pinnacle, based in Stawell, and not sent overseas. Our sets up fees are also reasonably priced. We embroider onto a large range of product, horse rugs, caps, towels, work wear, corporate wear – just to name a few.
Sublimation is the art of printing using a special ink and paper and heat pressing on to a large range of product which include cups, stubby holders, coasters, jigsaws, garments, travel mugs, thongs key rings and much more.
Vinyl printing is where a design is cut from special vinyl and heat pressed on to garments or cold pressed onto products such as car windows.
We offer a screen printing service
We give free no obligation quotes
We offer a free pick up service and drop off from Ararat to Stawell
We are open 8.30 til 4.00 Monday to Friday
We are based in Barkly Street Ararat”
Thanks to Sue and staff, who gave up time to demonstrate for us and here are some pictures below of the visit.
